ALL of our project supervisors give worker health and safety, both on and off the work site, first priority. With years of professional experience, including the latest knowledge of OH&S regulations and policies, they have greatly reduced project costs relating to on-the-job injuries. Our field supervision is proactive by being constantly vigilant of worker safety and unsafe conditions. They then resolve safety concerns immediately with workers and project management, thereby effecting swift corrective action. A comprehensive project safety and health orientation with all workers effectively communicates established project standards and objectives, inclusive of health and safety reporting procedures and programs.
Our field supervisors are leaders who demonstrate their commitment to health and safety by “walking the talk” and leading by example. Performing formal and informal safety inspections throughout the project, they provide a record or a snapshot of performance in relationship to the project safety objectives. Field supervision then takes the necessary action, as required, to maintain the highest safety benchmark possible for the project.
With experience in and solid technical knowledge of quality control standards, required industry regulations, and accepted practices, our field supervision will substantially reduce or eliminate poor-quality fabrication and assembly through each phase of construction on the project. As a result, they minimize or eliminate poor/improper equipment installations, schedule delays, and increased project costs.
Flextech Project Material/Equipment Control:
- Expediting project materials, equipment, and transportation logistics supervision material as well as equipment receiving/warehousing supervision.
Our supervision team is well versed in all aspects of the expediting cycle, from analysis of the specific expediting requirements, progress monitoring of vendor engineering, and fabrication. Their expertise is inclusive of scheduling, transportation, and receiving onsite deliveries to meet project commitments. Effective accountability and control of equipment, including onsite project materials, are inherent in minimizing project costs.
Flextech Project Commissioning and Startup:

Our field supervisors and inspectors are dynamic and thorough during the commissioning and startup phases of the project. As a prerequisite, mechanical completion inspections are executed to verify and document the mechanical completeness relating to equipment and piping systems. Subsequently, the pre-commissioning activity phase is implemented inclusive of testing and calibration checks on all electrical and instrumentation systems.
Early in the construction phase, a methodical commissioning schedule is developed and approved. The sequencing of commissioning activities and the identification of required resources are then later strategically integrated into the project. This integration occurs prior to the mechanical completeness stage and migrates through the various project phases to the completion of the startup phase of the project.
Flextech Mobile Equipment Co-ordination/Scheduling and Supervision:

The coordination and effective use of project mobile equipment and resources are other keys to reducing costs. Our skilled supervisors will ensure that each lift is done properly and is critically safe each and every time one is made on the project. Remember, "Safety is no accident."

QA/QC project supervision is critical. That’s why we continually check, track, and ensure the specified quality, including trace-ability, of our materials and components are as per the project specifications and codes. Our field supervision team is well experienced and is dedicated to ensuring that the project’s relevant QA/QC standards are in compliance with established government standards and industry codes. At the same time, we ensure that our clients trust and satisfaction continues well after the project is completed.
Our inspectors are constantly monitoring shop or field work to ensure proper procedures, techniques, and practices. They also provide the highest quality through the fabrication process, thereby minimizing or eliminating rework and non-conformance issues. Ultimately, they ensure positive test results during NDE testing procedures, thereby resulting in substantially lower project costs.
