Field Maintenance Services
As a leading field maintenance services provider for the power, process, and industrial damper and expansion joint industry, Flextech Industries, Ltd. is pleased to offer repair and maintenance support and periodic inspection development services for all the dampers and expansion joints we manufacture. We offer the same support and services for those dampers and expansion joints manufactured by American Power and Process, Ruskin Power and Process, Pathway Damper Company, DDI, Effox, ACDC, American Warming, Walcho, Kelair, Mader, Bachmann, TLT, ACDC, Fox Dampers, Barron Industries, and Combustion Engineering.
In the maintenance, overhaul and major repair support role, Flextech Environmental will partner with you in the preparation of overhaul or repair bid specifications. Once a problem is identified, the damper or joint disassembly process is witnessed to help determine the condition and uncover a root cause, in the case of a major repair. A complete scrap review is conducted on the affected parts as identified by Flextech. Additional repair schemes are discussed as a method of further reducing the customer’s cost.
Our professionals will perform a functional test that will provide an assessment of the damper or joint condition upon completion of the repair or overhaul. Flextech then provides the customer with a detailed, progressive report that will assist in the decision-making process on the technical and commercial issues that arise throughout the major repair or overhaul.
Flextech knows that the area of inspection scheduling and task content has previously been a costly oversight for many customers. The results of insufficient or incorrect inspection programs are often the result of additional unscheduled maintenance cost.
Flextech can provide periodic inspection development for customers. This strategy results in a detailed schedule that accounts for site-specific issues such as environmental and plant operation ones. Our customers are further supplied with detailed task instructions that are customized to the individual site. These tasks can then be entered into the site’s maintenance software to ensure personnel have the required reference material at their fingertips during task completion.
